ANÁLISE DO CONHECIMENTO QUE OS PROFESSORES TÊM ACERCA DA CONCEITUAÇÃO DE LETRAMENTO

RESUMO

This dissertation has how I aim to check the knowledge of the teachers about the conceituação of literacy, as well as the pedagogic practices of these professionals made a list to such a concept. It discusses the liberal and progressive tendencies with approach in the conception of language of each pedagogic tendency, relation teacher / pupil and the developed practices made a list to the appropriation of written language; it boards also the formation of the teachers of the initial series of the basic teaching and the Parameters Curriculares Nacionais of Portuguese language. It treats the relations and differences between letramento and literacy and the formation of the teachers turned to the use of social practices that wrap the reading and the writing. The field work was carried out near 100 teachers of 1st and 2nd series of the Basic Teaching, all of the public net of teaching. For the collection of data, firstly, a questionnaire happened with questions turned to the identification and academic formation of the respondentes, questionamentos on the understanding of written language and his process of appropriation, knowledge of literacy and letramento like also the formation of the teacher turned to insertion in social practices of reading and written. On basis of the analysis and the discussions of the answers of the teachers, we can affirm that only 12 %, still what in the superficial form, demonstrate an understanding on literacy. The great majority, 87 %, was still not appropriated of this knowledge, in spite of they already reported 74 % of the respondentes to have read on the subject and of affirming 60 % to have frequented events. We can check that the courses of formation have not been giving conditions to the teachers for surpass his doubts and difficulties about the term literacy.
