RESUMO

To present dissertation he/she has for objective to make an analysis of the organic agriculture and of the green market in Brazil under the optics of the Modelo Diamante of National Competitiveness of Porter (1993). The research is classified as: exploratory, qualitative and bibliographical, tends as analysis method the comparison between the secondary data and the variables of the form model to identify opportunities and threats in the insert of the organic agriculture in the international market. The research verified that the chance and the factors of conditions act negatively in some dimensions, such as: I cost of transport and storage capacity, in the process of inclusion of the section in the international market, while the demand conditions are configured as a positive factor in the competitiveness of the section. He/she also identified that the action of the certificadoras, support industries or you correlate, it has been beneficial for the industry and that the supermarkets have if constituted in a net of favorable distribution. The section, in other words, the structure, strategy and rivalry of the companies, still has a lot to be developed, mainly through the support to small farmers with the formation of associations and training. The government s actions need to be intensified as for the development of new technologies. The work classified the industry as: driven by factors: basically of production, such as: natural resources or cheap labor, that can become a competitive factor in the formation of the price.
