RESUMO

This research of descriptive nature with qualitative orientation and supported by Anthroposophy, has been done with the participation of thirty five people, nurses ? men and women ? graduated by the Nursing Faculty from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, nowadays hired and working at the Hospital de Clínicas, on this university. The goal of this research is to know the current professional accomplishment fulfillment, checking if there was or not Professional Orientation, and which was the importance of this before the option for this career. It has been given a semistructured questionnaire with nine opened questions. Later, it has been done a qualitative analysis of the obtained information, based on the methodology created by BARDIN (1977), on his Contents Analysis, using the speech analysis technique. This study looked forward to know the indicatives and to show the reflection about the necessity or not of a Professional Orientation work for the option for the Nursing Profession, which dealing in the health area, can mobilize personal, social, emotional and spiritual aspects, with straight response on the attendance of the patient in the hospital environment
