RESUMO

This kind of work tends to study the typical characteristics of innovator proceedings in peripherical countries, having Brazil as a reference. Therefore, we should start from the Neo ? Schumpeterian theories, so we believe to be a good framework for understanding the theme of innovation. Since this theorical choice, we have tried to build what we believe to be ? The Structure of Brazilian Innovator Pattern ? during the 20th Century, starting of the interrelations of four axis of analyse: Labor background over the time being; The foundation ad role of searching development centers in financing system to innovation; Public Policy. Finally, we have used the PINTEC searching data concerning the years 1998-2000 and 2001-2003 in order to set up a large outlook about the structure of innovation in Brazil.Besides that, we try to reformulate the Neo-Schumpeterian classical sectional taxonomy, performing in this way, an effort to adapt thepeculiar characteristics of innovator proceedings in our economy
