RESUMO

This investigation was inspired by the teacherss lack of knowledge about the students reality of Youth and Adults Education program. This study presents the students profile from a Youth and Adults Education program and one students lifes history analysis, trying to understand the social relationships that constitute. The goal is to contribute with the educators of this and others programs of Youth and Adults Education so they can focus their look on the student and base their educations actions in the reality of the assisted group, comprehending their thoughts, their language and how he perceive his own reality. The research was done in two phases: the first one using a questionary which had the aim of identify the general characteristics of a students group that attend the program. That resulted on the establishment of his profile. The second one included a choice of a person who with his lifes history narrative brought elements for the comprehension of his constitution as a person, as an identity that is constructed in the relationships that are established with nature and the human world. The investigation brought up some important questions that can add to a bigger involvement between teachers educative action, and the desire of the youth and adults to learn and come to the school
