1. Genetic divergence and combined selection for traits that provide high agronomic performance in common bean lines
ABSTRACT The selection of common bean lines with intermediate cycle, upright plant architecture and high grain yield is an important goal of breeding programs. This study proposes to examine the genetic diversity of common bean genotypes for agronomic traits, select superior genotypes for traits that provide high agronomic performance and define promising cr

3. Effect of Push-Pull Ruthenium Complex Adsorption Conformation on the Performance of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells
A new series of tris-(bipyridyl)ruthenium-like complexes based on the 4-tripheylamine-2,2’:6’,2’’-terpyridine (TPA) push-pull ligand was prepared by incorporation of 4-carboxypyridine (cpy), 4,4’-dicarboxi-2,2’-bipyridine (dcbpy) and 4-carboxyterpyridine ligands (ctpy) ligands, in order to adsorb them on TiO2 in different anchoring conformations.

4. IPR CELEIRO: Common bean cultivar moderately resistant to bean golden mosaic virus
Abstract IPR Celeiro is a common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) cultivar with a carioca-type seed and moderate resistance to Bean Golden Mosaic Virus (BGMV). IPR Celeiro has a normal life cycle and an upright architecture. This cultivar was released for the purpose of integrating its use with disease management systems in the cultivation areas affected by this

5. Do We Know How to Avoid OASIs in Non-Supine Birth Positions? A Retrospective Cohort Analysis

6. Physiotherapy for Children with CLN2 Disease
Abstract CLN2 disease (neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis type 2) is a rare, genetic, paediatric-onset, neurodegenerative lysosomal storage disorder characterised by seizures, ataxia, rapid loss of motor function and language ability, dementia, visual loss and early death. Physiotherapy plays an important role in the management of CLN2 disease, aiming to maintai

8. Higher-precision experimental statistics for the selection of early and upright common bean lines
ABSTRACT. The development of early and upright common bean cultivars is necessary to meet the demand of producers. The objectives of this work were to evaluate more precise experimental statistics for the selection of early and upright common bean lines and identify the traits that provide better genetic differentiation between lines. For this purpose, 156 c

9. Evidences of self planting propagules of Rhizophora mangle L.
Abstract: The authors of the 19th century had demonstrated the viviparity of the species Rhizophora mangle L. with the formation of propagules in the form of spears devoid a radicle, adapted self-planting in the soil of the mangrove or to leave floating in vertical during the high tide. With low tide the propagules self-planting or remain prostrate on the so

10. POSTURAL COMPARISON BETWEEN A CONVENTIONAL BICYCLE HANDLEBAR AND AN ELLIPTICAL HANDLEBAR

11. A biomechanical study on proximal junctional kyphosis following long-segment posterior spinal fusion
Posterior long-segment spinal fusion may lead to proximal junctional kyphosis (PJK). The present study sought to identify the appropriate fusion levels required in order to prevent PJK using finite element analysis. A finite element model was constructed based on the whole-spine computed tomography findings of a healthy adult. Nine commonly used posterior sp

12. Does obesity affect intraocular pressure during laparoscopic surgery?
