1. Torulaspora globosa: rhizosphere yeast promoting lettuce growth on seedlings and under field conditions

3. Growth promotion of common bean and genetic diversity of bacteria from Amazon pastureland
ABSTRACT: A significant number of bacterial species, particularly in the rhizosphere, may benefit plant growth and development. This group of bacteria is known as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). This study identified genetically isolates of common bean nodules used to trap bacteria from Amazon pastureland and investigated their capacity of nodul

4. Isolation and prospection of diazotrophic rhizobacteria associated with sugarcane under organic management
Abstract Microorganisms associated with organic management are essential in nutrient transformation and release for plant use. The present study aimed to isolate, identify and characterize plant growth promoting diazotrophic rhizobacteria associated with sugarcane under organic management. Rhizospheres of organic sugarcane varieties IAC 911099 and CTC4 were

5. Rhizosphere Bacterial Composition of the Sugar Beet Using SDS-PAGE Methodology
ABSTRACT The rhizosphere zone has been defined as the volume of soil directly influenced by the presence of living plant roots or soil compartment influenced by the root. During the growing season of 2014, the rhizobacteria of 23 sugar beet plants sampled from 12 sites in the west and north west of Iran were inventoried. Using a cultivation-dependent approac

6. Inoculation of Pinus taeda Seedlings with Plant Growth-promoting Rhizobacteria
ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of Azospirillum brasilense , Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescens on the growth of Pinus taeda seedlings. Bacterial inoculants were applied in two different forms: at sowing and 20 days after emergence. At 30, 60 and 90 days after emergence, we evaluated plant height and root-colar diameter.

7. Metal-Resistant Rhizobacteria Change Soluble-Exchangeable Fraction in Multi-Metal-Contaminated Soil Samples
ABSTRACT There is a complex interaction between various components of the soil ecosystem, including microbial biomass and soil chemical contaminants such as heavy metals and radionuclides, which may greatly affect the efficiency of bioremediation techniques. The aim of this study was to investigate microbial capacity to change pH, changes in the metal solubl

8. Control potential of Meloidogyne javanica and Ditylenchus spp. using fluorescent Pseudomonas and Bacillus spp.
ABSTRACT Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) have different mechanisms of action in the development of plants, such as growth promotion, production of phytohormones and antibiotic substances and changes in root exudates. These help to control plant diseases. In order to evaluate the potential of microorganisms in the control of Meloidogyne javanica a

9. Non-invasive spectral detection of the beneficial effects of Bradyrhizobium spp. and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria under different levels of nitrogen application on the biomass, nitrogen status, and yield of peanut cultivars
ABSTRACT High-throughput phenotyping using spectral reflectance measurements offers the potential to provide more information for making better-informed management decisions at the crop canopy level in real time. The aim of this study was to investigate the suitability of hyperspectral reflectance measurements of the crop canopy for the assessment of biomass

10. Interaction between Thermotolerant Coliforms and Rhizobacteria in Soil Fertilized with Treated Domestic Wastewater
ABSTRACT Studies on the survival of pathogenic microorganisms in the soil after use of wastewater for fertilization of agricultural crops report the effects of moisture, pH, organic matter, and soil temperature on microorganisms. There are few studies that assess the survival of these microorganisms in the rhizosphere of plants fertilized with wastewater. Th

11. Rhizobacterial characterization for quality control of eucalyptus biogrowth promoter products
Abstract Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria strains from special formulations have been used to optimize eucalyptus cutting production. To undertake quality control for the formulated products, the rhizobacterial strains should be characterized to assess their purity and authentication. In the present study, we characterized nine strains of rhizobacteria,

12. Management of blight of bell pepper (Capsicum annuum var. grossum) caused by Drechslera bicolor
Abstract Sweet or bell pepper is a member of the Solanaceae family and is regarded as one of the most popular and nutritious vegetable. Blight, in the form of leaf and fruit blight, has been observed to infect bell pepper crops cultivated at the horticulture farm in Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur, India. Based on disease severity, we attempted to
