1. Extração da ascorbato oxidase de Cucurbita maxima por processo descontínuo e contínuo em coluna de discos rotativos perfurados utilizando sistemas de duas fases aquosas / Extraction of ascorbate oxidase from Cucurbita maxima by discontinuous and continuous process in perforated rotating disc contactor using aqueous two-phase systems.
The partition and purification of ascorbate oxidase from pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) by liquid-liquid extraction in aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) by discontinuous and continuous process, using perforated rotating disc contactor (PRDC) was studied. Experimental designs were used to choose the significant variables for discontinuous process, and polyethylene

2. Studies of efficiency in a perforated rotating disc contactor using a polymer-polymer aqueous two-phase systems
The mass transfer process in a perforated rotating disc contactor (PRDC) using a polymer-polymer aqueous two-phase system was investigated. The results show that the efficiency did not show a regular trend with the increase of the dispersed phase velocity and increased with the rotation velocity. The separation efficiency was higher for three rotating discs

3. Recovery of ascorbic oxidoreductase from crude extract with an aqueous two-phase system in a perforated rotating disc contactor

4. Desacidification of the oil of bran of rice for extration liquid-liquid. / Desacidificação do oleo de farelo de arroz por extração liquido-liquido.
The objective of this work was to evaluate the rice bran oil deacidification process by liquid-liquid extraction (LLE), in a continuous equipment, using aqueous ethanol as solvent. The alternative process was evaluated in terms of: ability to extract the free fatty acids; ability to minimize the neutral oil loss and, ability to preserve nutraceutical compoun
