The literature reports several interesting properties of dithiocarbamate ligands. Therefore, N,N-dietyldithiocarbamate anion has been employed in this work to produce Bi(III), Ga(III), In(III), Zn(II) and organotin complexes, in order to explore its ability as single source precursors of inorganic sulfides, in pyrolysis experiments. The work was divided into

14. Organotin(IV) esters of 4-maleimido-benzoic acid: synthesis, characterization and in vitro anti-leishmanial effects

15. Synthesis, structural and spectral studies of five- and six-coordinate adducts of organotin(IV) halides containing dibenzylsulfoxide (dbso) as ligand. The crystal structures of fac-[MeSnCl3(dbso)2] and trans-[Ph2SnCl2(dbso)2]

18. Butyltin speciation in sediments from Todos os Santos Bay (Bahia, Brazil) by GC-PFPD
Butyltin compounds were investigated in surface sediments from 17 stations in Todos os Santos Bay. Analytical conditions for organotin determination in marine sediments were optimized for GC with pulsed flame photometric detection. Detection limits were: 5.4 µg kg-1 for TBT; 0.2 µg kg-1 for DBT; and 2.1 µg kg-1 for MBT, using a 610-nm filter. In general,

Synthesis and characterization of the complex formed through the reaction enter the diphenyltin dichloride and citric acid and its fungicidal activity.
Tin-based compounds, specially the organometallic ones, have been used for a number of purpores, from biocides to medicines, useful in the cÃncer treatment. Application of such compounds in patogenic agents has increased gradually, due to their effetiveness and non-toxicity aften degradation. Therefore, it is of interest to search for novel actives against

20. DETERMINATION OF SN IN HUMAN MILK BY GRAPHITE FURNACE ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY / DETERMINAÇÃO DE SN EM LEITE HUMANO POR ESPECTROMETRIA DE ABSORÇÃO ATÔMICA NO FORNO DE GRAFITE
Tin is a metal of natural occurrence which is mainly extracted from the mineral cassiterite, SnO2. Tin may be released to the atmosphere from both natural and anthropogenic sources. In nature, it occurs in both inorganic and organic forms, and the shorter the organic chain associated to the metal, the higher the toxicity of the compound. Organotin compounds

In this work, eight new organotin complexes with the anthraquinone dyes alizarin (1,2-dihydroxyanthraquinone) and purpurin (1,2,4-trihydroxyanthraquinone) were obtained. The dyes are known since antiquity and they were originally extracted from madder root (Rubiaceae family). Their metal complexes are deeply colored and the calcium / aluminum salts represent

22. Imposex induction in Stramonita haemastoma floridana (Conrad, 1837) (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Muricidae) submitted to an organotin-contaminated diet

24. ESPECIAÇÃO DE COMPOSTOS BUTÍLICOS ESTANHO EM SEDIMENTOS SUPERFICIAIS DA BAÍA DE TODOS OS SANTOS / ESPECIATION OF ORGANOTIN COMPOUNDS IN SURFACE SEDIMENTS OF TODOS OS SANTOS BAY
The organotin compounds such as tributyltin (TBT) present in anti-fouling paints applied to ships, pleasure boats and vessels are proved to have harmful effects on the reproduction and the growth of several forms of marine life. In response to this environmental threat many countries introduced restriction to their use or even banishment. In Brazil there are
