13. Análise em tempo real da impedância do sistema respiratório e da mobilidade toracoabdominal em portadores de DPOC com obstrução brônquica acentuada / Real-time analysis of respiratory system impedance and thoracoabdominal mobility of COPD patients with severe bronchial obstruction
Introduction: COPD is carachterized by airflow limitation associated abnormal inflammatory response of the lung to noxious particles or gases. The mechanical alterations associated with COPD have been related with dysfunction of the diaphragm, observed since the initial phases of the disease. Several studies have confirmed the high potential of FOT in the as

14. Acessibilidade para a pessoa com cegueira em trilhas
The independence of blind people while in mobility, the object of this research, is one of areas that provide a high incidence of exclusion, since this is a limitation on a fundamental right of all citizens, which is the right of walking freely. The city of Florianópolis, place of this research and considered by the government organizations, a tourist desti

16. Habilidades funcionais e necessidade de assistência na síndrome de Rett / Functional abilities and caregiver assistance in Rett syndrome
Rett syndrome (RS) is a progressive neurological disturbance of genetic cause that affects females almost exclusively. It is caused by mutations, usually sporadic, of the MECP2 gene located in the X chromosome. Presented as main characteristics: stagnation in neuromotor development; losses of communication, visual contact, interest for people and objects; an

17. Nursing diagnoses in patients with acute myocardial infarction submitted to the coronary angioplasty with STENT / DiagnÃsticos de enfermagem em infartados submetidos à angioplastia coronariana com STENT
The coronary reperfusion therapy with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and stent placement constitutes, now, the preferential treatment to the patient attacked by acute myocardial infarction. In the period after to angioplasty, the patient with infarct demands peculiar cares of the nursing team due cardiac compromising and physical dependence.

19. Functional capacity, health conditions, depression symptoms and well-being in elderly of Geriatric Ambulatory of CH-UNICAMP / Capacidade funcional, condições de saude, sintomas depressivos e bem-estar subjetivo dos idosos atendidos no ambulatorio de geriatria do Hospital das Clinicas do HC-UNICAMP-SP
With the progressive increase of elderly people in the Brazilian population, it?s verified the increase of comorbities associated to chronic and degenerative diseases that consequently represents a higher demand of drugs used by this population. The fact submits us to the observation of the functional capacity preservation, sometimes leading to a worse funct

21. Limitation of electron mobility in modulation-doped In0.53Ga0.47As/InP quantum wells at low temperatures
The low-temperature electron mobility is investigated here for electrons confined in modulation-doped In0.53Ga0.47As/InP single symmetric quantum wells. The subband structure calculation is developed via variational method, both Schrödinger and Poisson equations being solved simultaneously with adequate heterointerface matching conditions. With this in hand

22. "Avaliação da hiperplasia do processo coronóide por meio da tomografia computadorizada helicoidal" / Evaluation of the Coronoid Process Hyperplasia by means of Helicoidal Computerized Tomography
The Coronoid Process Hyperplasia is an affection that causes a limited mandibular mobility and a consequent limitation in mouth opening. It doesnt present any painful symptomatology and has a slow progression, leading the patient to look for treatment only when the opening limitation is severe to the point of impairing regular masticatory functions. Many c

23. Activity Energy Expenditure and Mobility Limitation in Older Adults: Differential Associations by Sex
In this study, the authors aimed to determine whether higher activity energy expenditure, assessed by using doubly labeled water, was associated with a reduced decline in mobility limitation among 248 older community-dwelling US adults aged 70–82 years enrolled in 1998–1999. Activity energy expenditure was calculated as total energy expenditure (assessed

24. Limitation of joint mobility (cheiroarthropathy) in adult noninsulin-dependent diabetic patients.
Joint mobility was assessed in 80 consecutive adult noninsulin-dependent diabetic (NIDD) patients and 47 nondiabetic controls matched for age and sex. Impairment of mobility was observed in 36 NIDD patients but only 7 controls (p less than 0.01). There was no significant differences between diabetic patients with and without impaired mobility with regards to
