1. In vitro adventitious shoot regeneration from leaf explants of some apricot cultivars
Nesse contexto, o

6. Políticas e práticas curriculares: formação de professores de ensino religioso / Curricular policies and practices: formation of religious studies teachers

7. Microbiological Characteristics of Dungeness Crab (Cancer magister)1
Aerobic, heterotropic microorganisms of Dungeness crab (Cancer magister) were isolated from raw crab, cooked crab, crab meats obtained during commercial processing, and from retail crab meat samples. Each microbial isolate was then identified to the genus level employing the revised replica plating procedure. Microbial groups most commonly isolated from crab

8. Recovery of Bacteriophage from Contaminated Chilled and Frozen Samples of Edible West Coast Crabs
Edible West Coast crabs (Cancer magister and C. antennarius) were contaminated with bacteriophage and then held in a chilled or frozen state. Results indicated a significant survival of virus regardless of storage conditions.

9. Uptake of Bacteriophage and Their Subsequent Survival in Edible West Coast Crabs After Processing
Edible West Coast crabs (Cancer magister and Cancer antennarius), when in seawater contaminated with coliphage T4, were found to accumulate high titers of this virus. To study the extent of the hazard presented by crabs contaminated with virus, samples of edible crabs were contaminated with coliphage T4 and then processed by boiling. Results indicated that v

10. Microbial Flora of Irradiated Dungeness Crabmeat and Pacific Oysters1
The microorganisms in Dungeness crabmeat (Cancer magister) and Pacific oysters (Crassostrea gigas) were identified by the replica-plating and computer analysis method. The initial flora of the shellfish and the flora change during storage at 7 C were determined. The microbial flora shifts in both shellfish were also determined after irradiation at 0.1 and 0.

11. Ecological relationship between Vibrio parahaemolyticus and agar-digesting vibrios as evidenced by bacteriophage susceptibility patterns.
Twenty bacteriophages active against Vibrio parahaemolyticus and agar-digesting vibrios, isolated from oysters (Crassostrea gigas) and Dungeness crab (Cancer magister) and by induction of a lysogenic agar digester, were tested as to their host range. These phages were specific for V. parahaemolyticus and various agar-digesting vibrios, and interspecies lysis

12. Cryptocyanin, a crustacean molting protein: Evolutionary link with arthropod hemocyanins and insect hexamerins
Cryptocyanin, a copper-free hexameric protein in crab (Cancer magister) hemolymph, has been characterized and the amino acid sequence has been deduced from its cDNA. It is markedly similar in sequence, size, and structure to hemocyanin, the copper-containing oxygen-transport protein found in many arthropods. Cryptocyanin does not bind oxygen, however, and la
