1. Interaction dam-reservoir: study of conservative and dissipative effects

2. Study of nonlinear vibration of Euler-Bernoulli beams by using analytical approximate techniques
In this paper, nonlinear responses of a clamped-clamped buckled beam are investigated. Two efficient and easy mathematical techniques called He's Variational Approach and Laplace Iteration Method are used to solve the governing differential equation of motion. To assess the accuracy of solutions, we compare the results with the Runge-Kutta 4th order. The res

3. Solution of hyperbolic bioheat transfer problems by numerical green's functions: the ExGA-linear θ method
This paper presents a time-domain formulation called Explicit Green's approach (ExGA) linear θ method for the solution of the bioheat equation. Starting from the hyperbolic bioheat equation, which includes the parabolic one as a special case, the linear method is incorporated into the standard ExGA time marching scheme. The numerical Green's function is fir

4. Evaluation of radiances generated by solving the radiative-transfer equation with different approaches
Radiative transfer is the main phenomenon in the basis of several relevant problems of scientific and technological interest. Examples of application of the mathematical and computational modeling of such phenomenon can be found in astronomy, environmental sciences, engineering and medicine among many different areas. The integro-differential equation known

Estudamos tambÃm a S-assintoticidade

8. Solution of the Time-Dependent Schrödinger Equation by the Laplace Transform Method
The time-dependent Schrödinger equation for two quite general types of perturbation has been solved by introducing the Laplace transforms to eliminate the time variable. The resulting time-independent differential equation can then be solved by the perturbation method, the variation method, the variation-perturbation method, and other methods.

9. Analogue solution for electrical capacity of membrane covered square cylinders in square array at high concentration.
Analytical solutions of Laplace equations have given the electrical characteristics of membranes and interiors of spherical, ellipsoidal, and cylindrical cells in suspensions and tissues from impedance measurements, but the underlying assumptions may be invalid above 50% volume concentrations. However, resistance measurements on several nonconducting, close-
