4. SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NANOSTRUCTURED IRON-NICKEL ALLOYS / SÍNTESE E CARACTERIZAÇÃO DE LIGAS FE-NI NANOESTRUTURADAS
Nickel oxide and hematite nanostructured were successfully prepared by thermal decomposition from nickel nitrate hexahydrate and ferric nitrate nonahydrate in the temperature range of 350-450°C with variation of the time. The average crystallite sizes of NiO and Fe2O3 were estimated from X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks using the PowderCell and Topas software.
