13. Influência de materiais obturadores e agentes de limpeza na resistência da união e interface adesiva de pinos de fibra de vidro à dentina intrarradicular / Influence of filling materials and cleaning agents on bond strength and adhesion interface of glass fiber post to radicular dentin
The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the post-cement-dentin adhesive interface quality and the effect of different filling materials and cleaning agents on the bond strength of glass fiber posts to primary root dentin. This study included 156 roots of bovine primary teeth which were endodontically treated and assigned to four groups (39 teeth each

14. Influência da limpeza mecânica com e sem o uso do microscópio operatório na resistência adesiva intrarradicular / Influence of mechanical cleaning with and without the use of the operating microscope in intraradicular adhesive strength
In endodontic treatment, there is an imperative need to restore the tooth, reestablishing its functions, since there is always a risk of recontamination of the root canal system and fractures. These risks are higher when there is loss of dental structure, requiring intraradicular posts to hold the restoration procedures in place. For the definitive and immed

15. Adhesion of real seal to human root dentin treated with different solutions

16. Estudo da distribuição de tensões e da resistência à tração de interfaces adesivas dentina-resina de duas formas de espécimes submetidos a diferentes protocolos de envelhecimento acelerado / Study of stress distribution and tensile bond strength of dentin-resin adhesive interfaces of two types of specimens submitted to different protocols of accelerated aging
The rapid and frequent development of new materials and restorative techniques necessitate rapid assessments to estimate their clinical outcomes. This study sought to evaluate protocols for accelerated aging, in vitro, capable of simulating the performance of adhesive restorations with challenges inherent to the oral environment. The study included 36 molars

17. Análise morfológica e da resistência adesiva dos tecidos dentais duros irradiados com lasers de pulsos ultracurtos / Evaluation of dental hard tissues irradiated with ultra-short pulsed lasers. Influence on surface morphology and microtensile bond strength
The development of restorative dentistry has reached the era of esthetic adhesive restorations and minimally invasive approach, for which innovative techniques and advanced materials are constantly introduced. Conservative techniques aim not only to remove carious dental substrate, but also to prepare cavity surfaces for adhesive restoration. The main object

18. Do the origins of primary teeth affect the bond strength of a self-etching adhesive system to dentin?
The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the tensile bond strength of a self-etching adhesive system to three different dentinal substrates. Primary molar teeth that had been recently exfoliated (RE), with unknown time of exfoliation (UT), and extracted due to prolonged retention (PR) were used for this investigation. Ten primary molar teeth of each gr

20. Effect of deproteinization and tubular occlusion on microtensile bond strength and marginal microleakage of resin composite restorations
Dentin adhesion procedure presents limitations, especially regarding to lifetime stability of formed hybrid layer. Alternative procedures have been studied in order to improve adhesion to dentin. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate in vitro the influence of deproteinization or dentin tubular occlusion, as well as the combination of both techniqu

21. Adhesion of an endodontic sealer to dentin and gutta-percha: shear and push-out bond strength measurements and SEM analysis
The use of an adequate method for evaluation of the adhesion of root canal filling materials provides more reliable results to allow comparison of the materials and substantiate their clinical choice. The aims of this study were to compare the shear bond strength (SBS) test and push-out test for evaluation of the adhesion of an epoxy-based endodontic sealer

22. Properties and adhesion of glass ionomer cements modified by resin and bioactive glass-ceramic / Propriedades e adesão de cimentos de ionômero de vidro modificados por resina e vitrocerâmicas bioativas
Bioactive glass-ceramics are synthetic materials capable of chemically bonding to dental structures. Adhesion of resin-modified glass-ionomer cements (RMGICs) to dentin may be influenced by different types of dentin pre-treatments. The objective of this study was to analyze the compressive strength, roughness and adhesion to dentin of RMGICs (Fuji II LC and
