RESUMO

The main concern of this work is offer the chemistry teacher an alternative way for his classes activities, next to ?true making Chemistry?. A set of six film-experiments focusing the basic Chemistry concepts were developed in the Physical Chemistry field. These concepts are: solubility, solution enthalpy changes, electrolysis, conductometry titration, colligative properties and electric conductance of solutions. We understand that if the student can not carry out his (her) proper experiment, and if the teacher doesn´t have the opportunity to demonstrate it front of his (her) classes. There is the possibility to use the videoexperiments, which requires less preparation of the professor. In addition videos make use of spare material resources (available), don´t expose the pupil to dangerous chemicals and demands a minimum expense of time and money. These videos are appropriate for teaching chemistry at the high school level and mainly exploring the quantitative aspects of the previously listed topics. All the film-experiments were independently carried out in the laboratory using the appropriated scientific procedures, apparatus and chemical materials. The supplies and apparatus used in the films were adapted or conceived in order to fulfill the scientific, didactic and visual aspects. The choice of solutions as a ?generating theme? was guided by the central aspect that subject plays in the human being activities and in the ?nature functioning?. The videos have been idealized, carried out and edited in the laboratories of the IQ-Unicamp, without the aid of any other professionals of the media area. The videos last around 8 minutes each. The written work also presents the theoretical aspects of the subjects, a discussion on the laboratory results and a script for the application of the films, especially helpful for the teacher and it also shows how to get the results from the videos
