RESUMO
This research develops an analysis on the work of the actor, director and dramatist Renato Borghi, and focuses not only on recognizing elements that may settle a peculiar style in his acting but also on the identification of Brazilian aspects from his work as interpreter as well. Through a route that covers Borghi s professional ladder, this paper highlights topics that ultimately allow a definition about this actor s own signature. It drafts a picture in which is possible to identify many peculiar features of the Brazilian constitution - understood in the same way as from the work of recognized authors on the subject, such as Sérgio Buarque de Holanda, Roberto Schwarz, José Antônio Pasta Júnior and Neyde Veneziano, among others
