Trabalho e educação profissional : uma análise sob a ótica dos jovens

RESUMO

The theme of the present research is the work and the professional education for the young. The objective is to verify how the young search professional education programs and insertion in the work market conceive the questions related to the work, professional project, qualification and competence, in this transition from the industrial era to the knowledge, global and digital era. This research was supported by the cultural historical approach. The research was realized in the city of Campo Grande, MS, from June to December of 2001. It was applied a total of 82 questionnaires, distributed in two groups: 1) young registered in an institution which the program purpose is the insertion in the work market and 2) young registered in an official net professional education institution. The research results reveal that the young appropriate of the reestruturation discourse of the neoliberal productive system, showing to be worried and distressed to attend the demands of the working society, for that reason the growing searching for the knowledge, in attempt to accompany the technological innovation and the new models of management of the workforce that more and more extend the social and professional competitivity. Because of that the young search in the professional education and formation the solution for insertion in the working society attracted by the economic conception of education propagated by the model of the competences, employement level and qualification.
