RESUMO

Base on studies about alphabetization and literacy, this dissertation is an expression of an investigation on the influences of alphabetization methods, more specifically, on the Syllable Method and the Linguistic Based Approach, over written production of first degree students working with one of these methods. To achieve it, this study started by the hypothesis that the relation orality/writing established between students in their productions and the utilization of a restricted number of cohesive elements that establish the relations of sense between the utterances that form the text is, in part, responsibility of the method and/or approach to the alphabetization adopted. The dialog with authors that support a literacy process of alphabetization, literacy studies, written language psychogenesis and about scholar text production, helped us to produce this work that besides the bibliography research also gained information from field work and classroom observation about teachers practices with alphabetization classes and the written production of first degree students of two schools: one of them was a private school (L.C) in Belém and the other (N.S.A) a public school in Ananindeua, both in the state of Pará. During the research, was observed the development of the work of four alphabetization teachers with the writing production of twelve students at two first degree classes at N.S.A school. Two questions research were fitted with seven alphabetization and first degree teachers at those schools. The research work allowed us to perceive how alphabetization process is already perceived by an process that intends to improve the social uses of writing and lecture technologies and that the students were alphabetized by the Linguistic Based Approach use a major number of cohesion elements on their writing productions than the students were alphabetized by Syllable Method. The relation between orality/writing established on the writing words is major on the textual writing productions of the students that were alphabetized by the Linguistic Based Approach.
