RESUMO

The lean production concept was always associated to serial production, very away your techniques and methodologies can, thankfully, to be applied the other types of productive systems. In this context, the present dissertation describe a methodological proposal of application of the lean production philosophy to the industry of the type non serial. Such application differs of the usual use associated to the serial manufacture, mainly in relation to the assemblers of automobiles and autoparts manufacturer, as wide found in the literature. The elaboration of the methodology was possible starting from the analysis of the peculiar aspects of the non serial production in comparison with the of the serial industry, especially as the adoption of the techniques and own tools of the administration of the manufacture according to the concepts of the lean production. The proposed methodology was tested in a non serial manufacturing of electrical conductors and with high diversity of products. The results of the work demonstrate that is possible the adoption of the concept to another reality of manufacture industry, and it confirm the viability of the proposed model adapting the lean concept and your techniques and tools.
