RESUMO

This paper has as subject matter the connection between new and old policemen in policial force, in Teresina - Pi, in the period between 2001 and 2003. The aims are: I)identified the difficulties in education and control of the policemen in the policial institutions; II)characterize the way of admission of the civil policemen; III)recognize in its trajectory vulnerable moments to the capture of the new policemen by the policial establishment and; IV)contribute with the analysis is the possibility of conection between new and old policemen to be a channel of demage of values and reprodusing the traditional policial pratices. The returning of this profissional field special between the new policemen, threatens the confidence of the society in the institutions. The worry with this fact led us to the following questions: 1)Do sylabus and the teaching in the police academy give privilege to the reproduction of the traditional policial pratices? 2) Does allege bureaucracy of the police corrective service staff favor the impunity with inefficiency?; 3) Does the probable dissemination of the bad behavior take place because of the absence of control and the management of the human resources? This research is empirical and analytic, it uses data that expresses the quality and the tecnniques of interviews, transcription and analysis of the official documents to reach its objectives and investigate its questions. The analitic perception is helped by categories, such as habitus, the field, the traditional policial practices, the simbolic violence, others. The analysis proved that the connection between the policemen is demaged and works to reproduce the traditional policial practices, it also identified the fragility of the process of education, the tolerance of the disciplinary sistem with the bad policemen, the absence of a management and the existence of a occhestra zona of moral. So the effort for a new police force faces serious obstables.
