3-Arilaminoisoxazol-5(2H)-onas, substituídas no nitrogênio com grupos benzoxazol e benzotiazol, reagem com trietilamina em etanol, sob refluxo, fornecendo os correspondentes derivados indol e imidazobenzotiazol, respectivamente.
