RESUMO

This work looks for, in a first moment, to accomplish a reading semiotics of the present journalistic texts in The Progress, that approach the cases of suicide happened in the Indigenous Reservation of Douradoscity during the years of 1990 and 1991, verifying, through the analysis of 22 texts of the journalistic articles, more specifically of the typologies (policeman, first page, general and editorial)and to the light of the theory semiotics greimasiana, as the newspaper construtes the sense; which voices are looked for to dialogue with the enunciaties and your effects; the discursive competences of actorialização, espacialização and temporalização and the course of the news. The work is justified tends in view the need to detach the present voices in the journalistic speech of the oldest newspaper of Douradoscity The Progress to dialogue on the thematic of the indigenous suicide, as well as to understand the sense effects established by the presence of those voices, considering that the no manifestation, the absence of the voice, works as a repressive attitude what it contributes to the extinguished of the natives of the Reservation of Douradoscity references identitys by the text mediacty
