The treatments had consisted of five experimental rations: ration standard with energy source (100% corn) and protein source (100% soybean meal), ration with energy source (50% corn + 50% sorghum) and protein source (100% soybean), ration contend energy source (50% corn + 50% sorghum) and protein source (86,67% soybean + 13,33% expander cottonseed meal), ration contend energy source (50% corn + 50% sorghum) and protein source (73,34% soybean meal + 26,66% expander cottonseed meal), ration contend energy source (50% corn + 50% sorghum) and protein source (60,01% soybean + 39,99% expander cottonseed meal). The weights of the birds had been observed in accordance with the manual of the ancestry. The evaluated parameters had been consumption of ration, profit of weight and alimentary conversion (in the periods of 7 the 21 days and 22 the 42 days of age and in the total period). To the 42 days of age the animals had been abated and its carcasses evaluated for income of carcass, weight and income of breast, drumstick, thigh, wing, back, gizzard, liver, heart and abdominal fat.
