RESUMO
Procedures for the calculation of the values of core radii that will allow the operation of the optical wave-guide in the mono mode region with minimum total dispersion were developer. This was done starting from the value of the operating wavelength, the chemical composition of the core and cladding materials and the index profile of an optical fiber. Typically, the processes that will allow the synthesis of these structures in the mono mode region were implemented....
