RESUMO

In this work is presented a comparative study between some geometries for the Neutrinos Angra Project detector. This Project was born from a colaboration that is dedicated to the construction of a compact antineutrinos detector for monitoring, in real time, the thermal power of Angra II nuclear reactor. Through the antineutrinos ux is possible to get informations about the thermal power dissipated by the reactor, in a independent and no-invasive way. This proposal, which is well seen by the International Atomic Energy Agency, appears in a moment where safe-guard is an order issue to the major participation of nuclear plant in the global energetic matrix. The geometric conguration of the detector is one of the details that need to be carefully studied before its construction. With this intention has been developed the AngraSimulations. This computational simulation code, developed using the Geant4 software allows a reliable reprodution of the main characteristics of the detector. In this way, with AngraSimulations we were able to test the optical properties of the materials, the geometries performance and the physics processes conected to the antineutrinos detection. With this tests has been produced important results that will be a great help for the collaboration.
