RESUMO

The proposal of this research is to verify, at first, the possibility of exchanges amongst the cinema and the worldwide web, and once it is possible, what are the probable applications of this proposal. To achieve this, I do investigate the hypothesis of a plausible time reading in the internet context, in the same way Deleuze applies it to the cinema. Which are the evidences that this can be possible? In which aspects can it be? What challenges and possibilities does it show? In this verification, I compare the convergences between the concepts of cinematic narrative structures and hypertext structures by applying the criteria of the time reading in media as a changing form. The illustrative corpus includes Babel - the movie from Alejandro Gonzáles Iñarritu - and the Internet sites from CNN and Aljazzera, involved in the repercussion of a cover from The New Yorker magazine, that shows the United States candidate to the Presidency Barack Obama and his wife Michelle in an illustration that suggests they are favorable to Muslins. The methodology begins from the context presentation and follows with the comparative and progressive analysis of the corpus, related to the concepts of the movement-image in movie narrative, as a possible hyper textual narrative and it finally ends in their structural inter-relations. The theoretical referential basis is composed by Deleuze and his interpretations of the theories developed by Kant and Bergson, organized to support the chosen point of view, for the movementimage appropriation to the hypertext context.
