RESUMO

This work, called T eckids Project, based upon constructivist assumptions, aims to develop a set of procedures and activities which, besides being a methodological and educational innovation, seeks to introduce, on effective way, the Technological Education since the early series ofFundamental Teaching. Toward this, on a parallel and concurrent way, we developed ludic and contexted activities, which we call problem-situations, capable of providing on pupils of third and fourth degrees of the Fundamental Teaching the search for practical solutions to everyday problems. Those activities are inserted as an essential part of a thirty hours mini-study, whose objective is to capacitate teachers in practice of theirs respective series on the usage oftechnological processes inside their scholastic day-to-day. To ana1yze the results, we used a qualitative methodology of case study, based upon which, after a series of ana1ysis, we established that an effective proposition of Technological Education is more practicable if it is applied as a whole, with teachers and pupils, having in mind that teachers begin to better accept the new ideas starting from the moment that they can closely follow the development of the activities together with theirs respective pupils. From then on, theirs previous conceptions about what technology is have been modified, because, since they visualized on practice the team work process of theirs respective pupils, they could abstract on a more consistent way how the process of technological production works. Besides that, the analysis of the results allowed us to verify that the problem-situations developed with pupils showed to be in accordance with the most diversified inter and multidiscip1inary propositions presented by National Curricular Parameters (Brasil, 1999), because they mobilize in the pupils a who1e series of individual skills and competences, shared on team work, which, besides searching a joint solution to the problem presented, allows that different norms and values, which guide the good citizen behavior, be incorporated to pedagogical practice
