RESUMO
This masters thesis, whose title is Social Security Principles: The Brazilian Social Security Law under the focus of the Aristotelian Theory of Justice, follows the research line Production and Application of Law, which is inside the concentration area Principles of Justice and Jurisdiction. The research report corresponds to the axiological principles of the Law Production. The object of the research is the Brazilian Social Security Law as an instrument of Justice. On the other hand, the study is divided into three chapters. In chapter one it was made an analysis of the main Social Security principles. In the second chapter, after delineating them, it was investigated theirs coalescence into the national law. The concept of Justice, under an Aristotelian approach, is the object of the third chapter. Having the connection between Justice and the Brazilian Social Security Law as a starting point, the study searched to elaborate a framing of this ones by optics of that one. It was evidenced the influence of the basic principles of the Solidarity and the Protection of the Dignity of the Person Human being. They transform the Social welfare into an way of Distributive Justice, preventing that it has only one character of Commutative Justice.
