RESUMO
In this work, we find presentations for surface braid groups either in closed orientable surfaces of genus g >= 1 or in closed non-orientable surfaces of genus g >= 2. A consequence of this presentations is to solve the word problem, which consists in finding an algorithm to decide when a given word in a group defined by its generators and its relations is the trivial word
