RESUMO

This work has as a main core the analysis of the Fundação FEAC implementation process, mainly the programs and educational projects devoted to children and adolescents, developed by the FEAC`s associate institutions, during the period from 1964 to 2004. It was focused the way the foundation planned and worked on the children education and care politics. As methodology, the temporal analysis of the FEAC?s implementation process was done using the following criteria: the foundation structure, its procedures for attendance, its management, the fundraising activity and its human resources. It was also tried to identify who had been the social actors, who are the associates institutions and how they contributed for the Fundação FEAC goals.Such methodology made possible the understanding of how important was, and still being, the Fundação FEAC for the history of the care and educational politics in the city of Campinas, mainly with respect to the social and educational programs and projects directed for children, adolescents, old-age people and special needs people, and also because Fundação FEAC consolidated itself as a national reference for a successful social management model
