RESUMO

The purpose of this study was to investigate the nutraceutic influence upon body weight, semen, libido and hormones testosterone and cortisol in Nelore Bulls. Two groups of ten Nelore bulls were utilized, aging between 30 and 36 months, group 1 (G1) control and group 2 (G2) nutraceutic group with 20 mL/animal/day, during 70 days. Corporal weight, blood samples to testosterone and cortisol and semen collected for eletroejaculation.were obtained in days zero (D0), 35 (D35) and 70 (D70) in two groups. Libido tests were realized seven days before of each collect (days -7, 28 and 63). There was difference (P<0.01) among collect days D70 = 33.28 cm, in relation to D0 = 32.30 cm and D35 = 32,18 cm for scrotal perimeter. There was difference (P<0.01) among collected days (0, 35 and 70) with means of 424.30 kg, 480.70 kg and 502.60 kg, respectively. There was not difference among groups to libido, seminal aspects, cortisol and testosterone. The results exposed allow concluding that the nutraceutic were not increase the evaluated parameters.
