RESUMO

If we take the health as a purpose and mean for education, the childhood as the phase when occurs the eating habits and the teacher with the preference in the action s elaboration that promote the teaching leaming in the school, this paper mainly examined the senses that a teacher makes about the viability of the healthy feeding at school. For this, we IDade a qualitative research based on theoretical-methodological assumptions of social historical psychology. Among the categories suggested by this referential, we highlighted the sense Doe. It was a work IDade with one subject: Maria is a school initial years teacher from Diamantinal MG. She has 49 years old and 25 years of experience in teaching. The information obtaining process consisted of interviews and didactical material used by the teacher. The analysis procedure used was Aguiar and Ozella proposal (2006) of Signification Nucleus construction. From the analytical effort applied, we systematized five Nucleus of meaning: "The feeding in teacher s vision - between the lived experience and the construction of scientific knowledge"; "The space of the nutrition contents in Maria s formation process"; "The teaching practices about health and nutrition - the activity s prescriptive characteristic shows the distance between being and seem promotion of healthy feeding"; "The snack at school is great, but the pub is bad!"; ", The activity executed incorporates family functions - the promotion of healthy feeding in school as motherhood". We considered that the conflicts, incoherencies, difficulties, limits and possibilities of overcoming and advance of this research helped us to understand how the promotion of feeding is lived in school. This first step had permited us getting closer of meaning zones IDade by this teacher and, then create a new knowledge about a little reality zone. Therefor, we considered that this is relevant for the construction of a school that promotes health, because, we agree with Clot (2006) when he affirms the importance of "know to transform, and transform to know"
