RESUMO
"The problem of happiness in Seneca and Marcus Aurelius" intent to definy the concept ofhappiness to the stoics authors ofthe second period, called Imperial Stoicism, trough out the philosophers Seneca(4 b. C.- 65 a . d.) and Marcus Aurelius(121- 180). The dissertation whishes establishes, too, the universe around the matter happiness, i. e., it wants to put the concepts of pain, destiny and passion and by which way they match, in accord to stoic reason, to the possibility or impossibility of reach ofhappiness
