O imaginário de um grupo de cuidadores de idosos de uma instituição de longa permanência para idosos (ILPI) do Distrito Federal

RESUMO

The present study displays the results of the research carried with caregivers of elderlies, puted from cares with put in a home in the Assistencial Park Jorge Cauhy, an Institution of Long Permanence for Elderlies hosted in Distrito Federal (DF). Its objective was to know the imaginary of the caregivers group. The research was developed integrated to the inquiry interactive disciplines, approved for the CNPq and the UCB, on the asylum3, and is tied with a interactive institutions project on ILPIs4. The mythical data had been collected by means of the Test of Nine Elements - AT-9, of Yves Durand (1988) - and for the Pedagogy of listening, of Paula Carvalho. The analysis was it endorses in the Anthropology of the Imaginary, from Gilbert Durand and in the gerontological theory. The mythical data had disclosed a predominance of the imaginary with synthetic structure in the group leaving to see a mythic trend. Such results had informed as the caregivers diary (from Gilbert Durand) load the world (DURAND, 1989, p. 260). What it is reflected in its attitudes, ahead of the aged ones, in the day the day of its occupation, meeting in them positive and negative aspects, of imaginary underlying they. The thus identified symbolic dimension could be considered in the reverse speed organization of the asylum, case is required.
