RESUMO

The theme of this work: The National Examination of Mathematical Courses: polemical and research, is the reason for implantation of one of the most controvert evaluation of the Brazilian system of education these recent years. It appoints as a central problem, the connection of the National Examination of Courses, the Provão, with the discussion of licentiate courses of mathematic actually on hand. His objective is to contribute for the improvement in order to obtain the licentiate courses evaluating the indicators of the Provão, as well as the aspects that he does not reveal. It concerns a bibliographic research to use basically official documents on the National Examination of Courses and exams to be realized. To settle more firm the data by INEP, we can conclude that there is a divergence between what the National Examination of Courses announce to evaluate and what is effectively evaluate. It is possible to check the bombast given to some contents and ability on detriment of others. It appears also the fact that the evaluation is an incidence only on the property of mathematic contents, leaving aside the contents of didactic-pedagogical nature
