RESUMO

Two basic questions served as basic guides for this study: 1) What is the contribution of the compulsory curricular stage to the learning and superior education of an administrator considering his abilities and minimum competences required by the National Curriculum Instructions in the Administration Course? And 2) To what extent are the basic concepts of the learning theories like Andragogy, Situated Learning, Experimental Learning and Emotional Intelligence reflected in the typical activities of the compulsory curricular stages in the Administration Course? From these questions, this work had as principal objectives: to analyze the perception of trainees in the Administration Course of the Federal University of Ceára with relation to their learning and superior formation during the compulsory curricular stages; to verify the level of contribution for the development of abilities and competences required by the National Curriculum Instructions; to check if the compulsory curricular stages reflect theoretical principles in the activities supported by the theory concepts in the mentioned learning. This study is characterized like exploratory and descriptive. The bibliographical research approached subjects concerning the professional formation focusing the formation in Administration, the internship, the learning with emphasis on the Learning Theories and competence. The field research was applied to 45 trainees studying the following disciplines: supervised stages I and II. In the process of data collection the instrument used was a structured and anonymous questionnaire. To help the data collection EXCEL program was used. The results of this research allowed us to conclude that the compulsory curriculum stage contributes for the trainees` learning and professional formation, because, these trainees, during the realization for this activity, had the opportunity to develop their abilities and competences proposed by the National Curriculum Instructions. Also, it was observed how these abilities and competences appear in an outstanding way, all of them according to the Learning Theories during the realization of the stage.
