RESUMO
Through the path of a Northeasterner living in Rio de Janeiro, the author Clarice Lispector uses a narrator man s voice, that is also a writer, to contemplate on writing subjects, bringing an entire reflection about the context and a new proposal concerning the intellectual s objective of that time. In this way, the main objective of this work is to contribute to the theorical debate about the Subaltern Studies, focusing on the life and book of the intellectual Clarice Lispector. The research hypothesis is to question that Clarice Lispector was, in some way, concerned with the political and cultural movements that were happening, to the point to observe such events in the construction of her histories, turning them into a more realistic stamp. It is aimed to discuss the intellectual s role of Clarice Lispector against the literary production and its reflex through the society. Our thesis is that the book The hour of the Star (1977) constitutes the fictionist Clarice Lispectors intellectual biography.
