Micros e Pequenas Empresas PMEs e a visão acerca da mudança: uma abordagem do ponto de vista da cultura organizacional

RESUMO

The transformations that are taking place in our society in the last decades affect everyone indistinctly. It seems impossible to think of our relationships, our everyday life and the organizations without the presence of changes. They assume different meanings: to some they represent the survival, challenge, complications, to others a competitive advantage, they can be associated also to fashions and to the maintenance of the state. In any of these situations the interpretation in relation to the need of change is an important element in the enterprises actions. This work develops itself in this context, which means, the objective of this work is to verify what means to the administrators of the micro and small enterprises MSE, placed in Frutal MG, organizational changes. The choice of the subject, the administrators, and the choice of the objects of the analysis, the micro and small companies, occurred because of the importance that these organizations assume to the national economy and, specifically, the local economy. The management of the micro and the small companies has been a reoccurring theme Administration Literature for different reasons, among those, it is the capacity of employment and income generation , the movement of the market, among others, to take the products ,which the big retailers are not able to deliver, to the customers. This work associates three themes: the changes and the culture of the small and micro enterprises. The interpretation of the data is guided by the perspective of Martin(2002) on the organizational culture integration, differentiation and fragmentation. The method of procedure used is the episodic interview and the analysis of content conducts the interpretation of the data. The subjects of the research express their point of view in relation to the theme - change. This way, the texts and the sayings are related to their thoughts, feelings, memories, plans and discussions. The researcher approaches the suggested theme change in a way that the administrators (interviewers) can express whatever they understand about the subject. To reach this goal, it was used questions that guide the interview. The result showed a division of the administrators of the visited micro and small companies, observing that some interviewers understand that the history of the enterprises would be different after the change. Most of the interviewed companies end up understanding and show, by the time the interview is about to be finished that the meaning of change is somehow positive.
