RESUMO

This paper deals with the observation and analysis about the influence of mass media in the common citizen daily life, mainly with the intention of the electorâs vote, following the campaign of the candidates to the brazilian presidential election in 2002. We identify how television handles these information, how the general public absorb them and how these information interfere in the electoral process
