RESUMO

This paper presents a study of load previsions using chronological series, especially the theory of Box and Jenkins. One model is determined for a city and next a trial is made to extend the vality of this model to other cities with the same characteristics when there is a lack of data. The numerical data use in the work are those of CENTRAIS ELETRICAS FLUMINENSE (CELF).
