RESUMO
The main goal of this work was to analyze leisure activities within a reclusion space through the investigation ofthe "Communicative Action Theory". This analysis was made trying to understand the prison related not only to the power mechanism, but also with the human solidarity point ofview. The leisure was not studied by work paradigm, but by its insertion into the spontaneous sociability in the life world. With the ample concept of leisure and imprisonrnent was possible to understand the prisoner s leisure and the values that brings to life world, as well as the construction ofthe intems norms to reclusion. The leisure reflects the building values of captive s society. From this theoretical reference, based on the communicative action theory, was possible to reach a better comprehension within a prison
