RESUMO

The extracts of seeds and cotilédones of Macrotyloma axillare heat treatments the 90C for 30 min. followed by precipitation for cold etanol to obtain saturation of 60-80% results in the partial purification of inhibitors of protease of the type Bowman Birk. The isolation of the isoinhibitors with high text of purity is reached by means of ionexchange chromatography. The analysis of the chromatography in loaded resins demonstrates a reduction of the load liquid negative of the inhibitors of the cotyledons, confirmed by the increase of the times of retention in HPLC and for the reduction of the molecular mass in mass espectrometria. The largest potency of the inhibitors of the cotyledons in relation to the dormant seed inhibitors in rehearsals in vitro suggests an involvement possibility in the mechanisms of defense of the plant, although rehearsals comparative in vivo they have not been accomplished. The activity of the inibidores Bowman Birk in the prevention of processes induced carcinogenesis is associated mainly to its activity in inhibiting the quimotrypsin. The process of germination of seeds of the Macrotyloma axillare facilitated the obtaining of small isoinhibitors, already understood among the seven disulfide linkages of the inibidores BBI DE-3 and DE-4 described by Joubert and cols. 1979, with activity increased antiquimotrypsin (eight times) and antitrypsin (four times).
