RESUMO

In the current stage of globalization process, organizations need to be faster, efficient and competitive; it is possible to perceive that the main opportunity of growth of a country is intrinsically related to their exportation activity, the trustworthiness of their economy to attract foreign investments and the domestic tourism attractiveness for foreign people. Discuss the effects of these three variables that compose the concept of commercial promotion - increase of exportations, external investments reception and foreign tourism promotion - considering the income and job levels in our country, are unnecessary. To maximize opportunities and improve commercial promotion structure, by the production processes improvement, commercial promotion image s relation with exportation or position in the market, it is essential a strategic process of reflexion. In this work, we propose a study on how the intelligence activity can assist in the commercial promotion strategic objectives; specifically in capacity of Brazilian s commercial promotion improvement. Therefore, the knowledge organization process was explored from the international commercial promotion s database, object of this work, that has a privileged collection of information about the market, proposing lines of direction for intelligent treatment of these information, that tries to subsidize with information companies in their process of creation of strategies, insertion in new markets and their presence in the others. The results are related in this research by the identification of existing gaps and how the intelligence activity can assist the responsible department of the Brazilian commercial promotion to reach their strategic objectives of collection, dissemination and creation of business-oriented scenes for exportation.
