RESUMO

Endophytic Streptomyces strains of medicinal plants has been contributing in a meaningful whit promising source for discovery of new bioactive metabolites. This study has as objective to select the best culture media and time of production of secondary metabolites then your isolation. Five different fermentation media were used in through the disk diffusion assay against Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633 showed better antimicrobial activity. The mass of cell was extracted with polar solvents, being the ethanolic extract what showed the great inhibition zone, when compared to the culture liquids extracts. The ethanolic extract was subjected the column chromatography of silica gel, followed by the purification of the active fraction by thin-layer chromatography preparative originated four new fractions, where just the A4 fraction presented halo of inhibition for Gram-positive bacteria. This fraction was determined the MIC and the best results were obtained to Micrococcus luteus ATCC 2225 <12,5 μg/mL. Infrared spectroscopy this fraction shows the presence of groups characteristic of primary amine aliphatic, alkyl and acetone groups.
