RESUMO

With the objective to establish the in vitro propagation and to evaluate the behavior of tannia varieties, it was applied growth regulators concentrations and cultivation ways of propagation. They were evaluated the number of shoots (NB), length of the aerial part (CPA), length of the longest root (CR), weight of the total fresh matter (MF) and total drought matter (MS). The roots length was stimulated by the 6- benzylaminopurine. The aerial part length had larger growth in the presence naphthalene acetic acid. The cytokinin had influence in the shoots induction, for the BGH/UFV 5932 variety, larger seedlings production were obtained at concentration of 8,88 M BAP in liquid medium with agitation and semi-solid medium and 6,66 M BAP for the stationary liquid medium. In the Purple variety, larger seedling production was obtained at the concentration of 6,66 M BAP in liquid medium with agitation and semi-solid medium and 4,44 M BAP in stationary liquid medium. In semi-solid medium, the concentration of 2,22 M BAP induced larger shoot number for the Common variety. In the presence of auxin and cytokinin growth regulators applied in vitro resulted in positive effects in the shoot induction, aerial growth and tannia root system. Larger shoot induction was obtained in the presence of cytokinin. Independent of the cultivation modality, the BGH/UFV 5932 variety had higher potential in generating seedlings.
