RESUMO
The cold storage of agricultural products intended to meet a demand for healthier products by markets and consumers. You can also give producers an alternative to extend the time for the marketing of products stored. Cold storage is important for a better conservation of perishable products. Because with the decrease in storage temperature, the metabolic reactions subside. The refrigeration vapor compression, mostly running the control algorithm on-off, keeping the electric motor of the compressor in a flat spin and not contemplating the varying conditions which the system is subjected. The electric motor of the compressor is driven at full capacity only when it is necessary to fill small temperature variations. The control strategy on-off causes a large variation in temperature within the storage chamber and a higher power consumption compared to systems using more effective techniques of control. We studied the possibility of reducing the power consumption in a refrigeration system, subjecting the electric motor of the compressor to a variable speed of the second heat load to be removed, for both, if the instrument cooling system and a software was developed for data acquisition, monitoring and process control, to enable the implementation of control measures such as on - off, proportional, integral and derivative (PID) and fuzzy. Sought through the implementation of control measures, a smaller variation of temperature inside the storage chamber and greater energy saving. The fuzzy controller showed the best results, exceeding both the on-off controller as PID controller.
