RESUMO

The general objective of this research consists of analyzing the performance of international the receptive tourism in the economy of Pernambuco, considering its productive structure in the period of 2001 the 2006. For in such a way, exÃgenos factors had been considered as the heating of the global economy and the increasing search for new destinations for the foreigners, in this direction, Brazil and specifically Pernambuco is presented with such potential. It was looked to demonstrate to the evolution of the results reached in the flow and tourist prescriptions to the long one of last the 5 years, as well as the investments carried through in infrastructure and security, 0 variable these used for mensuraÃÃo of the index of efficiency of the pernambucano State, considering itself as referencial comparative degree the States of the Bahia, Cearà and Great Rio of the North. It was verified strategical necessity of politics and programs, that allow to the sustainable development of the international tourism in the State study object. As well as dimensionar the impact of this segment in terms of gross domestic product and generation of job and income in exactly, considering quantitative and qualitative aspects. The conclusion the one that if arrives contemplates the result that the receptive International, beyond the generation of job and income, contributes for the insertion of Pernambuco in the external market, with a superior qualification of the man power. As methodology of the research they had been necessary the accomplishment of bibliographical research, interviews with authorities politics and of trade, beyond the use of theoretical tool rack. In the comparative evaluation of the impact in the economy, it was verified that the item public security compromises the performance of the pernambucano State, revealing with the second worse tax of the country, with index of 48,0 (in 100 a thousand inhabitants). On incidence in the Gross domestic product (P18), the result of 2,2% in 2001 in the international tourism, indicates that it has chance of lasting growth for the next years, as demonstrated in the research. Of one it forms generality, the international tourism shows as of verge for the economy of Brazil, particularly of Pernambuco, making possible the definitive inclusion of the activity generating as a strategy in the fight against the poverty.
