RESUMO

This research has the purpose of study and test the methodology of the performance menagement . This methodology shows that the analysis of the performance of a system must be done, considering a family of measures and not only of isoleted results . It will also show that the performance indicators which compose a family of measures must being with it the biggest strategy ofthe system, as the orienting principIes included , to avoid this way the wrong decision making . Due to this necessity the methodology superpose the steps of planing and measurement of the system . This methodology results in the model of measurement known as " matriz of objectives" , which will unit alI the performance indicators of the system in one only . The result of this matriz will be the situation of the global for the system in analysis . lnitially , the convencional measurement methodology will be presented and these methodologies have been used in the menagement activity . FolIowing the performance menagement system and its advantages facing the new trends of the market are described . And fmally a practical test will be made , with real data, with the objective of valuing the methodology of performance menagement as welI as the matriz of the objectives
