RESUMO

The obligatory process of confinement tax to the Kaiowá and Guarani brought a lot of changes in its social and economic structure and a drastic reduction of the natural resources. The reversion of this picture will be given for the disponibilização of new areas to be recouped and revegetadas and for the perception, especially of new, of that diverse deriving products of the vegetation, could be used. After years of efforts to revert the advances of the forest spalling in the Indiginal Reserve of Caarapó, it has occurred of slow, however consistent form, the recovery of the remaining vegetation, this due to participation of the local inhabitants and agencies partners. The Kaiowá and Guarani recognize the importance da ambient conservation and da younger necessity to transmit this concern aos, that is instructed nas aboriginal schools about das more diverse utilities that the vegetal species can have. In the wealth of the stories the estimated one of an immense quantity of traditional knowledge is confirmed, contends forms of use, models of handling and ambient management, that still point with respect to a better situation and of possible sustentabilidade from the natural resources gifts and its use of rational form.
