RESUMO

This research identifies the aspects of the technical rationality in the process of constructing informative messages as an extent of the logic of scientific production in post industrial society. From the definition of violence esthetics, it takes aspects of the news sensationalism not only in its statement but in the way it is produced and adapted to the cultural industry structure. To analyse the indissolubility between content and shape in the context of communication technologies mediation in human sensibility and intelligibility that allows discuss the issue of experience and memory losses, this work bases on the classical thought of the philosophers Theodor Adorno, Max Horkheimer and Walter Benjamin. Starting from these authors, it is made an effort to analyse the incongruities between the information flow and the lack of explanation, taking as reference the most general conditions of society rationalization that didn’t allow the existence of a rational society. The place to observe this phenomenon is the journalistic production The reflections about the cultural heteronomy character – which assure itself by the processes of adjustment conjugated with the idea that technical rationality is incorporated in the production of news as a located expression of the technical procedures of the cultural industry -, remit to the field of interdisciplinary studies of education and communication.
